Syfon Systems wins leading

global business award

Syfon Systems has been announced as Business Innovator of the Year at the world renowned 2015 Asia-Pacific Stevie Awards.

Winning the Gold Stevie Award in the Business Innovation of the Year category, Syfon Systems was also awarded the Silver Stevie Award for the Most Innovative Company of the Year.

“It is an honour to receive these accolades for innovation. We pride ourselves on having a consistent focus on research and innovation - from our policies, to our people, to our projects, this award reinforces Syfon Systems reputation as leaders in roof drainage and rain water harvesting, especially in high rainfall areas across Australia and Asia.” Said Adam Bellgrove, General Manager Syfon Systems.

Judges selected Syfon Systems - for the Gold Stevie award - for its ‘Syfon System’, a unique high rainfall roof drainage system, designed and developed in Australia in conjunction with the CSIRO and the University of Technology, Sydney.

“Our syfonic roof drainage system equates to lower capital costs, reduced construction time and architectural flexibility in building design that no other system can match.” Added Mr Bellgrove.

Syfon Systems invests in ongoing research and development and in 2014 expanded into roof refurbishment (including associated drainage). Also, new drainage inlet products launched in 2013 have been well received by building designers and specifiers and are now featuring on many larger institutional and high-rise residential projects throughout Australia and Asia.

The Asia-Pacific Stevie Awards are the only business awards program to recognize achievement in the workplace in all 22 nations of the Asia-Pacific region. Over 400 nominations were received for the 2015 awards, which are widely considered to be the world's premier business awards, conferring recognition for achievement in programs such as The International Business Awards for more than a decade.

An international panel of judges will choose Grand Stevie winners from among the Gold winners, with the Grand Stevie winners to be announced at the 5 June banquet in Shanghai.
